CCTV /surveillance system consist of cameras, monitors, cables, connectors, power supplies and DVRs/NVRs to capture, connect, record/store, view, and replay Images of different places.  Cameras come with different shapes and sizes .DVR comes with different storage capacity (hard disc) and record Images, in the format of Jpeg, Mpeg.  Monitor is connected to the digital video recorder and Cameras are plugged into the channels or ports.

Matrix SWITCHERS, QUAD – SPITTERs, MULTIPLEXERS, Times Laps VCRs are used in old type of CCTV systems.
